Ubuntu Release Party - Sydney - Saturday 25th of April

the Jaunty Jackalope [1] - will be making its debut.
In celebration, from 4pm on Saturday the 25th of April, Sydney's
Ubuntu users and developers alike will be gathering down on Darling
Harbour's King St Wharf, at the popular James Squire Brewhouse [2].

computerbank victoria offering recycled pcs with ubuntu. prices start from $15

Prices start from $15 for a Pentium 3 600-660MHz, 256MB RAM, 8.4GB Hard Drive, CDROM and sound. Computers come with a CRT monitor, keyboard and mouse. Free user guide and training is available for each computer. Only available to Health Care Card holders

Time: Thurs 24th April 7pm. There will be DJs playing quiet downtempo music from 8pm.
